Mike is a Technical Advisor for Trees That Count based in the Bay of Plenty and Waikato, and is also a director of Environmental Restoration Ltd. He specialises in the restoration and management of planted and natural ecosystems across New Zealand including indigenous forests, wetlands, geothermal landscapes and coastal dunes.

In his spare time Mike can be found planting trees and spraying weeds on his small forest block, riding the mountain bike trails or kayaking on the lakes.
